You will join the team and be responsible for supporting Northamptonshire Children’s Trust (NCT) Newly Qualified Social Workers (NSQW’s) who have been successful at interview in getting an NQSW post. You will also be involved in a ‘bespoke’ training/programme delivery within the academy and have opportunities to support and develop the wider workforce and beyond. You need to be a qualified Social Worker with experience of working within Children’s and/or Adult Services and are required to be a Level 2 Practice Educator or Level 1 working towards level 2. While working with our NQSW’s you will support them with their 12 month Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE) portfolio, undertaking activities including reviews, individual supervision, reflective supervision, providing training within the Academy, conducting developmental work with NQSW’s, complete observations of practice, verify finalised portfolio’s, support NCT’s learning and development team with training deliver, complete Collaborative Reflective Practice Discussion’s (CRPD), have opportunities to complete pieces of work within the wider workforce or with partner agencies and play an active role within the Academy Management Team.
