Here\'s what you need to know before applying:Your key responsibilities will include:Ensure the Grounds Maintenance duties are carried out at the GE Redhill St Leonards and Lord Nelson Buildings along with the GE Site’s at Renshaw Drive and Mustang Drive Stafford to the highest standards using the following table as a schedule. *Summer Months to be April to end September – Winter Months to be October to end March.Ensure Window Cleaning and Fascia Cleaning duties are carried out at the GE Redhill St Leonards and Lord Nelson Buildings to the highest standards a reach and wash systems for external areas and appropriate microfibre stingray and blades for internal areas.Ensure the rear years at the GE Redhill St Leonards and Lord Nelson Buildings are kept clean and tidy to the highest standards using the following guidelines.Ensure all equipment is safely stored in a clean and well-maintained condition in between use.Ensure appropriate PPE is used in all operations.Ensure best practice is always maintained following Health and Safety instructionsBuild partnerships with onsite client through liaison and engagement.Our ideal Facilities Assistant will:To be polite, professional, and friendly always, with customers, clients and colleaguesIn-depth understanding of grounds maintenance and upkeep needsAbility to maintain a clean and functional workspaceAbility to lift or move heavy equipmentOrganisation skills and ability to multitaskAbility to work well with othersAbility to work under minimal supervisionAbility to use lawn mowers and power tools and a strong understanding of water and waste systemsExcellent written and oral communication skillsA high level of customer care is adhered to at all timesTo demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectationsDesirablePrior Experience in a Horticultural roleNPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Pesticides.Full UK Driving LicenceExperience in operating a reach and wash system As part of Compass you\'ll help to feed people, fuel progress and forge connections in around 6,000 venues.
