Dean Close School are looking to appoint a new Technician to join our Product Design and Technology department. This is a full-time position, working during the academic year, and we would be looking for the successful candidate to start in September 2025.Reporting to the Head of Product Design and Technology, you will support the department in preparing teaching materials and equipment ready for our pupils and where possible, provide our students with 1:1 support. Other roles and responsibilities include: To organise, maintain and repair and operate a range specialist tools and equipment Be responsible for manging materials stock and purchasing and budget spend via Foundation Purchasing software reporting to the Head of Department To assist individual students and small groups on occasion. From time to time researching best working practices.
