Are you an experienced and dynamic Operative looking for your next position?As the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety. You will also be working in different areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch and housekeeping. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday.Main ResponsibilitiesOn a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Operative will include (not exhaustive):Meeting daily production target requirementsWorking on the reporting of data for quality purposesMoving, loading and unloading products from the plant and vehiclesMeeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaroundWorking on the continuous improvement of performance standardsThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment. Furthermore, if you have experience in any of the following, this would be beneficial in your application;Good communication skills and good numeracyHolding a mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck would be advantageous, but not essentialStrong communication and team player abilityPrevious experience of manual handling would be a bonusThe role is based at our Stancombe packed products site in Flax Bourton, Bristol. The site is easily accessible from Nailsea, Portbury, Portishead, Wrington, Langford, Yatton, Weston-Super-Mare, Avonmouth, Bedminster and the surrounding areas.At Tarmac, ‘who you are’ matters.
