We currently have various EMHP posts available across the city due to lots of internal promotions as our service grows.You will be employed as a Band 5 Education Mental Health Practitioner, working with colleagues across the city of Leeds, with education settings and health professionals to offer Mental Health and wellbeing support to young people up to the age of 18 and their families.We will require successful applicants to be registered (or going through the process) with either the BPS or BABCP as you will be working within a NHS commissioned service.You will work within Leeds Community Health Care NHS Trust and provide a range of assessment and other interventions with individuals and wider systems under close clinical supervision from our experienced staff.Regular case management and clinical supervision on an individual basis and peer group supervision will be offered to ensure excellent clinical standards and registration is maintained.The MindMate Support Team holds a strong culture around wellbeing and work life balance and supports a hybrid model of working. They will be able to competently deliver a range of 1:1 and group Low Intensity CBT based interventions for children, young people, and parents/carers.Main duties of the job involve using your skills and knowledge to deliver a range of whole school work such as assemblies, workshops and education staff training. Alongside 1:1 and group Low Intensity CBT based interventions for young people, and parents/carers.Delivering a 'whole setting approach' within educational settings developing excellent professional working relationships along the way.
