We are currently looking for an Territory Manager to cover the East Midlands.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Main ResponsibilitiesTo Manage and develop a geographical sales area including new business development to drive performance against agreed Territory sales targets, including volume and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop territory sales plans for new and existing customers in the region.Planning sales and appointment activitiesDevelop a pipeline of new business opportunitiesDevelop a pipeline of premium product opportunitiesSupport the implementation of Key Account Plans within the territoryDevelop a relationship with ISR and key contactsWork in partnership with the Internal Sales Representatives to identify and develop sales opportunitiesSupport the internal sales team to manage customer accounts including queries and complaints as requiredProviding excellent, best in class, customer service experience.The Ideal CandidateBe able to demonstrate proven experience working within a fast paced sales environmentCustomer relationship Management / Account ManagementPossess good communication skills and be numerateAdept at interpreting data SkillsStrong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with key and prospective customersStrong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbalExcellent planning and organising skills, to ensure efficient and effective daily time management
