Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting an Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical scope of works for the BOP Cabling scope of works on a new build waste to energy plant in Irvine, Scotland.
The Electrical Site Manager position comes with an hourly rate from �50.00 to �52.00 per hour.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Oversee daily site activities for the BoP cabling scope (LV/MV cabling, containment, terminations, testing).
*
Manage site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, health & safety, and quality standards.
*
Liaise with project and construction managers to align site progress with programme milestones.
*
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
*
Lead toolbox talks and ensure RAMS are implemented effectively.
*
Interface with the client and attend progress meetings.
* Ensure compliance with CDM, company HSEQ standards, and statutory regulations.
* Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on industrial or energy projects (Waste to Energy, Power, Utilities, etc.).
* Strong knowledge of BoP electrical installation practices.
*
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (essential).
*
ECS/CSCS card (essential).
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).
*
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
*
Strong understanding of health & safety and QA/QC procedures.
*
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
