What You'll Be Doing: Join our client's team as a Locum Homecare Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients receiving care at home. In this role, you will:
carry out homecare prescription screening and clinical validation
ensure timely dispensing and delivery of medications to patients at home
work closely with clinical teams, patients, and suppliers to coordinate care
maintain compliance with SOPs and homecare governance standards
support service efficiency and contribute to service development
perform comprehensive patient assessments
create and implement personalised care plans
deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
maintain accurate patient records
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
a current and valid GPhC registration as a pharmacist
prior experience in homecare or homecare screening
strong attention to detail and working knowledge of homecare SOPs
excellent communication and organisational skills
the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a full-time position, Monday to Friday. Some scope for hybrid working (1-2 days/week from home) may be considered following an initial period on site. The contract is for 3-6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs. Free on-site parking is available.
