Astute’s Power team is partnering with a supplier of electrical and mechanical services to recruit Site Manager to oversee the Electrical works on a 5-8 month contract for its Cheshire site.
The Site Manager role comes with a rate of �625-�675 per day.
Key skills:
* Act as the main site contact for all electrical subcontractors and interface with the project management team.
* Ensure electrical works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
* Manage day-to-day site activities of electrical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to programme and work scopes.
* Monitor progress against the project schedule and resolve issues that could cause delays or rework.
* Ensure quality control through regular inspections, snagging, and liaison with the commissioning team.
* Coordinate electrical interfaces with other disciplines including civil, mechanical, and control systems.
* Maintain detailed site records including daily progress reports, permits to work, toolbox talks, and incident reports.
* Lead and promote a positive health and safety culture on site; conduct site inductions and regular safety audits.
* Liaise with the client, main contractor, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Support commissioning and handover activities, ensuring as-built documentation and test results are correctly compiled and submitted.
