Coventry City Council’s Library and Information Service is a public facing service operating for the benefit of local communities and the wider city.
Providing services from the central library and 16 local libraries (3 of which are community led) Coventry libraries provide a unique 'cradle-to-grave' service bringing individuals and communities together.
Public libraries acquire, organise and provide access to a range of information and reading resources to meet the diverse needs of a community. We actively support independent learning and encourage reader development, also providing information on areas such as:

What is the job role?This role will be a key resource to support the co-ordination and management of Library Services. The role will play a key role in widening the engagement of the Library Service into local communities ensuring excellent standards in customer service. We are looking for a Digital and Information Co-Ordinator who will be responsible for developing, co-ordinating and delivering digital and information services across Coventry Libraries. You will play a leading role in developing and promoting digital services both online and within Libraries. The role will involve leading on projects aimed at tackling digital exclusion, providing access to information resources and digital cultural activities that meet Library users requirements and expectations.
