The Project Controls Manager position comes with a day rate from �550.00 per day to �600.00 per day outside of IR35.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and cost forecasts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
* Implement and manage robust project controls systems, tools, and governance frameworks.
* Lead on earned value analysis (EVA), schedule performance reviews, and cost variance reporting.
* Maintain accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and change control processes.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, delivery partners, and contractors to ensure alignment on programme status and updates.
* Identify and manage project risks, providing mitigation strategies and updates to senior leadership.
* Provide timely reporting and insights to support informed decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with corporate and project-specific controls procedures.
* Strong track record in project controls roles within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects (WtE, EFW, power generation, or heavy civils preferred).
* Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost management tools (e.g. SAP, Excel, or similar.
* Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
* APM, PMI, or equivalent project controls certification is advantageous.
