What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist and play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of service users within a secure hospital setting. In this role, you will:
* Perform comprehensive functional assessments
* Develop and deliver personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation plans
* Support patients in building essential life skills for community reintegration
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and person-centred care
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current and valid HCPC registration
* Experience working in mental health or forensic settings
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible locum position requires availability from Monday to Friday , with room for schedule adjustments where needed. The contract is ongoing with strong potential for extension based on performance and service requirements.
