Then we may have the perfect role for you based at our Head Offices located by Birmingham Airport.As anAdmin Team Leader,you will lead and manage our fantastic team working in our logistics division. The site is easily accessible from Coventry, Solihull, Stratford Upon Avon, Alcester, Redditch, Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Halesowen, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield, Tamworth, Stafford, Atherstone, Nuneaton and the surrounding areas.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Reporting into the Logistics Services Manager, the successfulAdmin Team Leader will be working closely with the business; partnering the Logistics Optimisation and Transport Teams. You will also you will be responsible for the administration processes for circa 1500 contracted hauliers.On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of theAdmin Team Leaderwill include (not exhaustive):Ensuring day-to-day contract haulier vehicle management and administration are completed in line with SLAsSupporting the manager with new initiatives and deputise for the Logistics Services manager when necessaryDevelop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholdersManaging five direct reports which includes performancereviews, one to ones, development and trainingManaging the day-to-day responsibilities of the teamFront facing with Hauliers, dealing with account queries, missing documents, replacement fuel cards and insurance amendmentsManaging the vehicle onboarding and account termination processProviding management information on volumes, KPIs and SLAs, identifying trends, process issues and root causeSupporting the operational transport with ad hoc complex queries and requestsThe idealAdmin Team Leader will be someone who has experience of leading a team and people managing, has strong organisational and time management skills and can show strong customer service skills.Furthermore, if you have a good understanding and appreciation of continuous improvement and have an understanding of software such as Smartsheet and Docusign, this too would be beneficial in your application.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic, high-performing teamGet involved in nationally significant projects that make a visible, lasting difference.Benefit from career development opportunities, training, and mentoring from industry leaders.Enjoy a flexible, supportive working environment that values your growth.Ready to shape land for the future with a company that values your voice?
