Your role will be varied and rewarding.HCAs are integral to the team & your responsibilities include:Supporting clinical assessments, dynamic risk management, and maintaining health needs.Assisting with nurse-led clinics, minor injuries, and emergency responses.Delivering health promotion sessions to young people.Managing stock, supporting procurement, and maintaining IPC standards.Completing audits and working holistically.While experience with this client group or in secure settings is desirable, it’s not essential, as a thorough induction will be provided.This role allows you to use and develop clinical and interpersonal skills while working with some of society’s most vulnerable children (aged 10–18) who face complex circumstances. It’s a chance to provide compassionate care and positively influence young people’s health, well-being, and future choices.You’ll work closely with prison departments, education, safer custody, and probation, ensuring holistic care.
