We are working with a a specialist engineering services provider who are seeking to appoint a HSEQ Advisor to support their operations across England. This is a critical and visible role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to join a high-performing team where you will play a key part in driving a positive safety culture, developing best practice, and ensuring compliance across a diverse and dynamic operational environment. As a HSEQ Advisor, you will work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to build alignment with high standards in health, safety, environment, and quality.
The SHEQ Advisor Role:
* Promote best practice and develop a proactive health and safety culture across the business.
* Conduct site audits and inspections to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, driving continual improvement.
* Provide technical health and safety advice to operational teams and support risk management initiatives.
* Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
* Keep up to date with relevant legislation and support business-wide compliance initiatives.
The SHEQ Advisor Candidate Will Have:
* A relevant degree in health, safety or a related field.
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems.
* Proven experience in a health, safety, environment, and quality role, ideally within a technical or operational environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* A pragmatic approach to health and safety with a focus on delivering real-world solutions.
