Senior Buyer
Here within the @one Alliance we are a totally collaborative organisation made up of our seven partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO) and our extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. 
We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP8, this will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we’ve ever delivered before. We’ll be embarking on a new kind of project delivery focusing on nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes.

Essential to us outperforming against our Procurement objectives and managing the effective and timely procurement of goods and services across the Alliance, we are looking for a Senior Buyer to join the team!
What you will be doing as our new Senior Buyer?
As our new Senior Buyer, you’ll implement the procurement deliverables agreed upon from the Portfolio strategies by challenging and negotiating long-term and short-term transactions with the framework and non-framework partners. 
The overall aim for this role is to be truly integrated within the project teams, you’ll ensure all deliverables are achieved via implementing and supporting the ECI engagement of our strategic partners during the early stages of a project. 
You’ll have a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting and positive impact across the @one Alliance. 
Key Responsibilities:

Aggregate demand across Water Recycling and Water programme areas and ensure all relevant information to support the procurement of goods and services has been included. 
Undertake ethical and robust methods to promote the correct selection of supply chain partners. 
Support Delivery on Time and manage and escalate any potential risks to the business. 
Ensure our Health & Safety processes and deliverables are implemented throughout the life cycle of each project.
Issuing performance scorecards across the supply chain and providing feedback to the project teams.
Ensure all deliverables are received within the agreed time frames (programme, signed contracts and site documentation).    
Assess and implement efficiencies via value-added approaches from within the Supply Chain. 
Undertake proactive stakeholder management; work in an approachable manner to provide updates, analysis, reports, and innovation to increase knowledge share and confidence.
