The Team is committed to working with families and partners to support and empower children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This service has responsibility for a range of important statutory educational work within Coventry. We are a creative, connected and forward-thinking service. Together with our families and partners in schools, settings, the NHS and third sector, we have driven change that has pushed us to the cutting edge of SEND. It is a busy and challenging administrative role as you will often be the first point of contact and will need to be able to communicate clearly and transparently with parents/carers, schools and settings, health, social care, other Local Authorities and professionals from a wide range of teams. It is also a very rewarding role as you will be part of a team whose focus is on enabling children and young people with special educational needs to achieve the best long-term outcomes possible.Who are we looking for?To ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of our admin processes we are looking to recruit a highly motivated, person-centred administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have:-Excellent administrative and customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders including, colleagues, partnership organisations and children/young people, parents and carers (although you will not work directly with children/young people/parents/carers)Experience of working in a fast paced, customer focused environmentGood working knowledge and experience of using IT systems including Microsoft Office packages (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)Experience of data input and data protection awarenessAbility to multi-task and work under pressureYou will need to be highly literate with at least Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. Able to communicate with a range or stakeholders including families, children, young people, schools, colleges, health and social care.
