In this role, you will work closely with the Team Manager to line-manage a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring they are motivated and engaged to meet contractual requirements. Please note some emails may arrive in your junk mail folderMain ResponsibilitiesAssist the Team Manager in managing team performance, attendance, behaviour, capability, welfare, health and safety, and record keeping.Ensure team members are equipped to complete their tasks and that resources are fit for purpose.Supervise day-to-day workloads, ensuring timely completion of work orders and range management processes.Support individual and team performance, motivation, and target setting.Oversee the allocation and use of resources and equipment.Assist in producing risk assessments and method statements.Ensure Training Areas are fit for purpose and comply with contractual standards.Manage training area usage and conduct routine inspections.Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective range and training area delivery.Complete all relevant documentation using both IT and paper-based systems.The Ideal CandidateKnowledge of management theories and techniques with proven people management experience.Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractual requirementsExperience in customer communicationKnowledge of training area operating systems and Health & Safety regulationsHighly developed people management skills, including providing feedback to ensure team motivation and engagement.Ability to deliver services to tight deadlines and appropriate quality standardsStrong communication skills at all levelsAbility to drive continuous improvementProficient in performance management using appraisal processes and other management tools.Good general IT skills and working knowledge of relevant MS packagesPrerequisites for Employment:Full driving licence valid in the United KingdomCandidates must meet UK residency requirements (5 years minimum)If you are passionate about facilities management and leading a team to ensure high standards of service delivery, we would love to hear from you!
