Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a company providing certified actuation solutions for nuclear power plants, supporting both existing facilities and next-generation technologies like SMRs and micro-reactors. They are looking to recruit a Nuclear Quality Systems Engineer on a 12-month minimum contract for its Bath site.
The Nuclear Quality Systems Engineer role comes with a day rate of �450.

* Quality Management Systems (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in line with nuclear industry standards (ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1, etc.).
* Compliance and Auditing: Conduct internal/external audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry requirements.
* Supplier and Process Management: Monitor suppliers and drive continuous improvement in quality systems.
* Risk and Incident Management: Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
* Training and Documentation: Maintain quality records and provide training on standards and best practices.
