Business Readiness Analyst (Insurance)        Up to £50,000 per annum dependent on experienceFTC Until End of March 2026London HybridHere at Saga, we are looking for a new Business Readiness Analyst to join Saga Insurance.Following Saga’s recent announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, you will be responsible for capturing, validating, documenting and obtaining sign off on business readiness criteria as part of a largescale migration programme.As our Business Readiness Analyst, you will report to the implementation manager and will form a key part as part of implementation Go/No Go decisions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent business analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business readiness and large-scale migrations. This is a critical role that requires a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The Business readiness analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their go live criteria.We offer flexibility over where you work – you choose a place where you feel most comfortable and productive, either from home or in one of our hubs. We believe exceptional work deserves even more exceptional rewards, that's why we have put together an amazing benefits package for all colleagues.BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL COLLEAGUES:Our working week is 35 hours per week, these can be worked flexibly to suit your working style25 days holiday + bank holidaysOption to purchase additional leave up to 5 extra daysPension scheme matched up to 10%Life assurance policy on joining usWellbeing programmeColleague discounts including family discounts on cruises and holidaysRange of reductions and offers from leading retailers, travel groups and entertainment companiesEnhanced maternity and paternity leaveGrandparents leaveCompany performance related annual bonus - Up to 5%Income protectionAccess to Saga Academy, our bespoke learning platformMain ResponsibilitiesOur Business Readiness Analyst will be accountable for defining business readiness criteria to be tracked as part of Go live Go/No Go processesOther responsibilities will include:Creation of business readiness tacker and completing the tracking activityGo/No Go business readiness dashboardCapturing, interpreting, and translating business requirements from change owners and subject matter experts and turning that into acceptance criteria for user stories. for use in change delivery through sprint cycles and other change methodologies.  Analysing business data to identify trends and opportunities as part of continuous improvementFacilitating effective workshops and meetings by asking the right questions to draw out requirements and solutionsBusiness process engineering with efficiency and lean disciplines for approved changeReporting and tracking progress across my assigned projects, identifying and escalating any blockers hindering progress where necessaryBeing business solution focused, evaluating multiple options before helping the project team settle on a solution, recommending ways to tackle a task where relevantIdentifying system and operational process gaps, pro-actively raising these to the relevant department and support in the creation of their change requestsMaintaining knowledge of the project and change lifecyclesApplying project methodologies utilised within SagaGaining an extensive knowledge of systems, operations, and people across the businessEnsuring swift progress across multiple concurrent projects though organisation and time management skills, whilst being able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workloads.Demonstrating and maintaining a logical approach to problem solvingBeing able to work under my own initiative with a brief understanding of the task required, working out a plan of who to speak to and the best way to gather the required information.Supporting Project Managers and Scrum Teams within Change where additional analysis is requiredContinually learning and sharing lessons with my peer groupEffectively manage stakeholder expectations around scope and deliveryLiaising with other departments, representing the Change Management TeamBuilding strong relationships with all levels of personnel both internal and external in order to complete tasks.Ensuring actions, risks, issues, and decisions are logged against appropriate change items in accordance with the best practice requirements of Change ManagementThe Ideal CandidateYou will have proven experience in business readiness in a large-scale migration project/programme. Whilst experience within the Insurance industry isnt essential, it would be of advantage.You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences;Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesProven experience of good communication at various levels Shown curiosity and being naturally inquisitive and happy to provide challenge where necessaryGood working knowledge of Business Analyst Practices or have transferrable skills that could be used.Usage of Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Visio and Draw.io  of advantage)Relevant Project or Business Analyst qualificationsProven experience in gathering and documenting requirementsProven experience of process modelling About The CompanyOver the past 70 years we have become the UK's specialist provider of products and services to people aged over 50 in the UK.
