Purpose of the JobThe purpose of this role is to assist in the day-to-day operation of the Warehouse, ensuring all aspects of storekeeping and Tool Store operation are conducted safely and efficiently. This includes tasks related to inventory control, receipting, locating, work packing, counting, and issuing from the Warehouse and Tool Store.Key Responsibilities include:Ensuring personal health and safety and the safety of others while adhering to company safety and quality systems.Reporting incidents and suggesting improvements to the line manager.Collaborating with the larger warehouse team to provide excellent customer service, maintain housekeeping standards, and foster a team-oriented environment.Picking customer orders and loading/unloading vehicles.Dispatching goods for repair or overhaul.Conducting regular audits of inventory.2. Main AssignmentsStock Issues & Transactions:Timely picking of material reservations and updating SAP Staging Tool for all applicable transactions.Unpacking, checking, posting, and locating receipts.Raising purchase order discrepancies according to procedures.Storage Operations:Operating Kardex storage media and resolving issues with faults and stock record maintenance.Operating warehouse handling equipment (Counterbalance, Aisle-master, Reach Trucks).Ensuring all materials requiring quality inspection meet 100% compliance.Work Pack Management:Processing work pack requests and ensuring materials are correctly located, staged, and accounted for.Vehicle Unloading & Delivery:Unloading delivery vehicles, including chemicals and oils, at designated storage areas.Arranging transportation for tools and materials requiring onward shipment.Warehouse Housekeeping & Inventory:Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, ensuring items are labeled and stored properly.Ensuring items received in the warehouse are accounted for and signed out by the collecting party.Maintaining the customer issuing hatch and processing Goods Receipt documentation as required.Tool Store Management:Issuing and receiving tools using SAP, ensuring proper documentation and permissions.Replenishing tool store items as needed and liaising with third parties for repair and overhaul of tools.Maintaining records for bicycles sent for repair/service.Additional Tasks:Resolving iPay discrepancies in SAP.Carrying out stocktaking/audits as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.Restocking vending machines as directed.4.
