As the Manager of Academic and Student Services (MASS), you will be a crucial part of our College team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional student experiences throughout the entire student life cycle. You will support the College Director Principal in crafting renowned student programmes and services that empower students to excel academically and personally. Your role will encompass leading the enrolment process, developing engaging induction programmes, championing the student voice, and orchestrating a diverse calendar of enriching activities, all while ensuring compliance and excellence in academic support services.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Lead the design and execution of a seamless and student-friendly enrolment process, ensuring a smooth start for all students.
* Oversee the creation and delivery of an engaging and welcoming arrival and induction programme that sets students up for success.
* Develop and implement efficient student finance management processes to support accessibility and financial clarity.
* Champion the student voice by creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and feedback.
* Curate and manage a vibrant calendar of student-centered events, activities, and pastoral support initiatives.
* Ensure accurate and efficient management of student records to support academic and administrative functions.
* Drive the development and enhancement of the college's academic infrastructure to optimize student learning experiences.
* Oversee and refine the college timetabling processes to ensure smooth and effective scheduling.
* Lead and support Academic Tutors, fostering a culture of excellence in student support and mentorship.
* Manage college assessment processes, ensuring fairness, accuracy, and compliance with academic standards.
* Oversee attendance monitoring systems to promote student engagement and success.
* Ensure the college remains fully compliant with regulations and best practices through effective compliance management.
* Collaborate with the College Management Team to shape policies, maintain compliance, and enhance institutional documentation.

Manager of Academic and Student Services (MASS) Requirements:
Essential:
* Confident with the Microsoft Office suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Degree level qualifications.
* An effective knowledge of the Higher Education sector and/or university pathway programmes.
* Proven experience in overseeing and operating within structured, process-driven environments with a strong customer focus.
* Background in managing high-volume customer interactions across multiple channels, including in-person, phone, and email.
* Proficient in handling data systems and ensuring efficient data management for streamlined operations.
* Resilient in the pursuit of customer service excellence.
* Strong verbal and written English language communication skills.
Desirable:
* Ability to communicate in a language other than English.
