Repairs Administrator (P01822) Fixed Term Contract(12months)Starting salary £27,544pa with potential progression to £29,383pa on achieving designated skills and experience37hours per week(08.45am to 17:15 Monday to Thursday & 16:45pm on Friday)We are looking for a Repairs Administrator to join our small and friendly team within Housing Repairs Contact Centre Team to provide outstanding customer service to our tenants and leaseholders.We are looking for someone with a true customer focus, an understanding of what great customer service involves and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.You will be working closely with our long-term partnering contractors – Morgan Sindell to maximise customer satisfaction and achieve value for money. Working with colleagues and contractors to ensure delivery of a first-class responsive repairs service.Your main focus will be dealing with customer calls and emails within a fast-paced environment covering responsive repairs, planned works and other housing related services.You will deliver a comprehensive, caring, sympathetic and understanding approach especially when dealing with vulnerable customers.Customer service experience is essential, providing exceptional commitment for the Tenants, Leaseholders and customers of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, prioritising work, making appointments with customers for property inspections and ensuring all administrative duties are completed to a high standard.The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.Closing datefor applications is 14 April 2025.Remote assessments will be held on 24 April 2025.Interviews will be held on 1 May 2025.
