We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind individual who genuinely enjoys the company of young people. You will also have an active interest in sport, and experience of coaching a sport would be an advantage. A key part of the job is working with our teaching staff providing classroom support, mostly with our Geits (Primary 7 age) pupils who are based up at the Senior School. This will include PE and Games sessions. Your role will be to actively assist in the classroom, provide administrative support and help with the organisation of resources and activities. You will also work alongside our PE and Games staff in supporting with sports coaching to pupils of all ages. Our interns would normally be expected to help in coaching a sports team and so would therefore be part of our Saturday morning Games programme. This role is particularly suited to someone who might be interested in a career in teaching and there will be opportunities to provide bespoke experience relating to interest areas of the individual.
