Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Manager you will:
* Work as part of the operations team.
* Ensure safe and efficient operation of the CHP plant.
* Perform frontline mechanical and electrical maintenance as necessary.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Experience working in a similar heavy process industry including power, chemical, refineries, etc.
* Applications from ex-defence candidates welcome.
* A relevant engineering qualification is desired.
Personal skills
The Operations Technician role would suit someone who:
* Is able to work a rotating shift pattern.
* Lives in the Seascale area for the duration of the FTC.
* Works well in a team environment and also independent.
* Prioritises high levels of health and safety.
