Director of Performance Execution - Right hand to an award-winning CEO
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire (Hybrid, flexible working, 3 days in office per week)
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 per annum +
WHO WE ARE
Led by an award-winning, visionary CEO, we are Dignity Funerals, the only vertically integrated end-of-life service provider within the UK. We are on a mission – to innovate, enable growth, and make an impact. We don’t want to do ordinary—we aim to push boundaries, redefine the industry, and set the bar for standards.
To stay ahead of the game, we need a Director of Performance Execution who thrives in high-energy environments, can turn chaos into clarity, and works as the ultimate force multiplier for our CEO. If you love solving complex problems, driving strategy, and making things happen, buckle up because this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role—it’s a front-row seat to how an industry-leading company operates. You’ll work side by side with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure strategy turns into execution and that it embeds. You’ll also be on point to lead the resolution of issues that require senior-level attention.
Here’s what that looks like:

Be the CEO’s Right Hand – Provide direct support to the CEO, ensuring their time is focused on the highest priorities. Anticipate challenges, remove roadblocks, and keep everything running smoothly. This will often mean you need to work closely with colleagues across the operation to drive outcomes to challenges.
Drive Strategy & Execution – Take our big-picture vision and translate it into actionable plans. Keep the ELT aligned, accountable, and moving forward.
Lead Cross-Functional Projects – Own high-impact initiatives, ensure seamless execution, and bring together the right teams to get things done.
Foster Cohesion & Efficiency – Identify misalignment within the leadership team and proactively solve it. Be the glue that connects different departments.
Make Data-Driven Decisions – Cut through the noise with critical analysis and insights that empower fast, informed decision-making.
Operational Excellence – Work across the business to refine processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and build a high-performance culture.

Whilst there will be huge opportunities to move the needle, there will also be days that will be spent in the weeds solving problems in the here and now. We want to be clear that not every day will be as high octane as the last. The important thing is you know you are making a difference.
WHO YOU ARE
This role is not for the faint of heart. We’re looking for someone who:

Drives Order – You bring order to fast-moving, high-growth environments. You don’t wait for instructions—you anticipate, solve, and execute.
Has a Strategic Mindset – You see the big picture but know that execution is everything. You’re obsessed with outcomes.
Is an Elite Communicator – You simplify the complex and ensure alignment at all levels of the business.
Moves at Pace – You act with urgency, drive momentum, and keep projects from stalling.
Loves Data & Analysis – You don’t rely on gut feeling alone. You leverage data to make smart decisions and drive action.
Builds Relationships with Ease – You inspire trust, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

A seat at the leadership table – Work alongside the CEO and ELT, shaping the future of the business.
High impact, high visibility – You won’t just be another cog in the machine—you’ll be driving it.
Limitless learning & growth – Gain hands-on exposure to top-level strategy, operations, and leadership.
Work with the best – Be part of a high-performing, fast-moving, and ambitious team.

WE OFFER

Annual salary of £90,000 - £100,000.
£6,000 Annual Car Allowance.
Annual Performance Bonus.
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.
X4 Life Assurance.
Pension Scheme.
PHI (Private Health Insurance).
Hybrid flexible working.
