If so, this this could be the role for you.About the role:As the Simpler Recycling Project Officer within our Environmental Services team, you will lead the delivery of the Council’s adoption of new waste legislation.This includes managing commercial and contractual aspects of the service, developing strong partnering relationships, and driving organisational change.You’ll set high standards for performance in waste management contracts.This role requires a presence on-site at least three days a week, with more frequent visits during the induction period.About you:We’re seeking a customer focussed individual with a professional qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.You should have substantial experience at in Waste Management. Strong project management skills are essential as is experience of working within the waste or public sector.You must be able to demonstrate a understanding of the statutory regulations relating waste management.
