Are you a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Stoke? We have an exciting opportunity for you!
Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8a)
Location: Stoke - NHS Hospital
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30 min break)
Start Date: March/April 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: �33-37ph

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care within a hospital setting. In this role, you will:
Work in a ward-based setting, delivering clinical pharmacy services
Conduct medication reviews and optimise drug therapies for patients
Provide expert advice on prescribing and medicines management
Support the dispensary team with allocated slots (2 hours per shift)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid GPhC registration
Prior NHS hospital experience
Strong clinical knowledge and experience in wards-based pharmacy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with flexibility where possible. The contract is for a minimum of 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
