By choosing to be part of our Transportteam, you will be warmly welcomed into the ArrowXL family.So, what are you waiting for?Apply now!Please be aware thatall roles at ArrowXL are subject to a mandatory criminal record DBS check.Main ResponsibilitiesYour role will include:Leading and motivating your team of skilled service delivery crews, First Line Managers and Team LeadersEfficient fleet utilisation, resource planning and cost control (whilst always ensuring the operation is both effective and compliant)Taking lead for legal compliance and safetyIdentifying opportunities for improved efficiencies within the Transport function, recommending and implementing changes where neededThe resourcing, development and management of all colleagues within your team, ensuring our service delivery crews are fully trained in all areas (in particular driver CPC, service delivery standards and product installation)Making prompt decisions which protect customer service and our delivery schedule, as well as remaining commercially focusedManaging on-site resources (colleagues, vehicles and equipment) to ensure we have everything required in the right place at the right time to not only meet, but also flex, to our Customers changing needsThe Ideal CandidateWith the amount of applications expected for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:A minimum oftwo years’ experience employed within a similar transport management roleExperience and knowledge of improving transport operations and introducing operational excellenceExcellent knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and hold a National CPCFirst class people skills. Able to motivate, influence coach and develop your teamsFull UK Driving Licence
