Ready to join a team that values your contributions and supports your growth? We are currently looking for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our busy team in Huddersfield!

As a 1st Line IT Support Engineer, your main responsibility will be to deliver first-class support to our internal customers using both Windows and Apple Operating Systems. You will engage directly with users to resolve queries and help requests via our IT Ticketing System, ensuring adherence to our defined SLAs. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, maintaining regular communication with colleagues, and identifying opportunities for service improvements. Additionally, you will assist with system tests and help implement new hardware and software solutions to continually enhance our IT environment.

Hours of Work: Full-time, standard hours with flexibility when needed.

1st Line IT Support Engineer Requirements:

* Previous experience in IT support, ideally with a focus on both Apple and Microsoft systems
* Apple & Microsoft Operating System platform - troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades
* Apple & Microsoft hardware support - troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades
* Microsoft Active Directory (ADDC - User account management)
* Microsoft 365 Office (Word, Excel, and Teams), Admin Centre (e.g. Security and Compliance)
* Adobe Suite Support
* Networking for end-users (eg:patching)
* Understanding when to escalate advance cases to the 2nd Line IT Team or IT Manager when you have exhausted your knowledgebase (personal skills and documented shared knowledgebase)
