Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a successful renewable energy provider who cover Commercial, Industrial and some Utility scale Solar projects, to recruit a Solar PV Installer for their main office based down in South Somerset.
The crucial position of Solar PV Installer role comes with a salary of up to �40,000, company pension, and a company van + a fuel card.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Lead Installer you will:
* Complete installation processes, this is inclusive of fixing mounting systems
* Complete site investigations, to bet determine what fixings and mounting systems are required
* Work with other members of staff to complete the installation in a timely manner
* Stick to safety procedures
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* A minimum of 1 years’ experience working on Solar PV Installation, a variation in roof types is desirable
* Experience with a range of panels and mounting systems is desirable
* Basic electrical understanding is desirable
* Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols
* Working at Heights experience
Personal skills
The Solar PV Installer role would suit someone who is:
* Physically fit enough to perform manual labour for long durations
* Confident in your reaction time and hand eye coordination
* Able to work within a team and have strong communication skills
* Ability to be able to work away from home
* Full UK Driving License
