What is the job role?Coventry City Council has an opportunity for a Recruitment and Onboarding Officer, to join our People Services team. We are seeking an experienced Recruitment professional who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of up to 4 administrators. In addition, you will provide recruitment and onboarding support for a number of designated service areas.As part of your role, you will engage with internal and external stakeholders, senior managers, employees/redeployees, community organisations and partners to optimise our recruitment strategies and boost engagement.Reporting to the Recruitment & Onboarding Lead your role involves defining and driving recruitment improvements whilst ensuring that the team adhere to pre-employment compliance checks. Expertise in data analysis, pre-employment checks, process improvement, and people management will contribute to your success.
