As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to Fee Earners in the Conveyancing department, ensuring all tasks align with client and colleague service standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing, organising, and archiving legal files and supporting documentation.
- Scheduling appointments and managing diaries for Fee Earners.
- Drafting client correspondence using audio typing, word processing, or digital dictation.
- Handling client and third-party telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Conducting property searches and processing client identity verification checks.
- Assisting with property exchanges and completions under Fee Earner supervision.
- Drafting client bills and maintaining account ledgers.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or in a similar role.
- Ideally have Conveyancing experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and case management systems.
