An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Support Worker to join a reputable therapeutic care provider. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £12.50 per hour plus £80 per sleep for 40 hours work week.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in their emotional and social development, always ensuring their safety and well-being. They are looking for 4 Residential Support Workers.

You will be responsible for:

- Develop and encourage respectful relationships with young people and promote socially acceptable behaviour.
- Provide guidance and counselling to assist in the social development of young people.
- Safeguard young people by maintaining control in situations and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues to ensure young peoples needs are met.
- Contribute to regular assessments and ensure accurate records are kept regarding the progress of young people.
- Support new staff members in their induction and work closely with management to optimise resource allocation.
- Assist in developing and organising recreational activities for young people.


What we are looking for:

- Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Keyworker, Childcare Worker, Care Worker or in a similar role.
- Ideally have experience working with children and young people.
- Working towards level 3 diploma in the Children & Young Peoples Workforce.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Enhanced Disclosure check.
