If you are a dedicated and experienced teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with learning difficulties, we encourage you to apply.Visits to the school are encouraged please telephone the office on 02476 686063 to arrangePlease return completed application forms to jobs@jsprimary.orgWho are we looking for?Lead and manage the ERP, ensuring that it provides high-quality support and learning opportunities for children with special educational needsDevelop and implement effective strategies to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of children in the ERPManage a team of teaching assistants and ensure they are trained and equipped to support the children in the ERPWork closely with the school's leadership team to ensure the ERP is fully integrated into the school's overall provisionLiaise with parents, external agencies, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in the ERPContribute to the school's overall curriculum development and ensure that the ERP is aligned with the school's vision and valuesYou will have:  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a primary school settingExperience of working with children with special educational needsStrong knowledge of SEND legislation, best practices and recent SEND research (SEND qualification is desirable eg NASENCO, NPQ)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholdersA strong ethical and moral commitment to our SEND pupils, staff and communityA passion for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting pupils with SENDProven track record of leading and managing a team effectivelyResilience and a sense of humour!Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
