Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6)
Location: NHS Hospital near Harrogate seeking cover
Duration: Up to 12 months (maternity cover)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (part-time considered)
Start Date: Mid-May/June
End Date: Up to 12 months from start date
Rate of Pay: �18 - �25 per hour (via Umbrella, depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting patient care within an NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will:
Assist with the preparation, dispensing, and supply of medications
Support medicines management processes within the hospital
Work alongside pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective use of medicines
Maintain accurate records and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous NHS hospital experience (preferred but not required for ACT-qualified candidates)
Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) or Medicines Management Technician (MMT) qualification desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a team
A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers flexible working with availability required from Monday to Friday (part-time considered). The contract is for up to 12 months , with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
