Job Closing Date: 14th March 2025Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Rural Supervisor to oversee inspections, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate teams to ensure the effective management of the Rural Estate.This hands-on role requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. Please note some emails may arrive in your junk mail folderMain ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections and produce reports on the condition of the rural estateIdentify and coordinate maintenance and reactive repair tasksEnsure compliance with relevant environmental and statutory regulations, including Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).Manage contractors and oversee works to ensure high standardsProvide technical and specialist advice on rural estate managementIdentify opportunities for income generation and additional work tasksMaintain accurate documentation using both IT and paper-based systemsThe Ideal CandidateKnowledge of rural estate management, ideally with a Level 4 qualification (NVQ/HND) in Agriculture, Forestry, or Protected Sites/Species ManagementFamiliarity with building services, statutory regulations, and workload schedulingExperience managing contractors and subcontractorsStrong communication skills for liaising with customers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodiesGood understanding of budget management and workforce planningA proactive approach to continuous improvement and environmental best practicesUnderstanding of Health & Safety regulations (COSHH, risk assessments, IOSH Managing Safely)IT proficiency and ability to use management tools effectivelyA full UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this roleWhy Join Us?At Landmarc, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative, people-first culture.
