Treasury Assistant 
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (38.75 hours per week)
Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham (Hybrid, 3 days office, 2 from home)
Salary: £24,763 per annum

We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Treasury Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Corporate Treasury, while contributing to the smooth financial operations of our business.
The RoleAs a Treasury Assistant, you will ensure all specified bank reconciliations are completed in a timely manner, overseeing all operational receipts and payments are inputted and reconciled into Oracle General Ledger as well as preparing cash forecast reports.
This is an ideal role for an individual who thrives in a busy, deadline-driven environment and is looking to further develop their skills in a Treasury role.
Let’s take a closer look at role responsibilities:

Maintain and produce reconciliations for multiple bank accounts across the group.
Key involvement in external audit process, half year and year end.
Support operational locations with any Treasury related queries.
Preparation of daily cash forecast reports.
Issue new and replacement signatory mandates on group bank accounts from across the business.
Submit new and amend existing Standing Order and Direct Debits.
Process ad-hoc payment requests directly through the online banking process.
Preparation and posting of journals to ensure accurate accounting of bank movement.
Maintain good working relationship with 3rd parties such as Banking partners, Digital Payment providers and external auditors.

Must haves we’re looking for in experience for this role:

Hands on experience within an accounts department.
Previous Experience of Bank Reconciliations.
General knowledge of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
Intermediate Excel experience.
Working knowledge of computerised ledgers.
A ‘can do’ outcome focused attitude and approach.
Excellent communication skills and works effectively within a team.
A proactive approach to work and problem solving and the ability to spot and resolve issues as they occur.
