As the head of clinical practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping high-quality practice and achieving positive outcomes for those we serve.The Circle to Success programme is an initiative within Northamptonshire Children’s Trust (NCT) designed to support children, young people, and their families. It aims to achieve positive outcomes through high-quality practice and integrated services. The program involves a multi-disciplinary team of clinical practitioners, family support workers, and youth participation officers who provide specialist advice and support. Key components include teaching, coaching, systemic supervision, and reflective practice groups. In this role, you will provide professional leadership within NCT’s Circle to Success Resources Service, overseeing teaching, coaching, systemic supervision, and reflective practice groups. You will direct, monitor, and coordinate the service's work to ensure high-quality practice, supporting children, young people, and their families in achieving positive outcomes in line with their care plans. Additionally, you will engage in direct practice with families and participate in case work where appropriate. You either have an advanced clinical supervision qualification or are willing to work towards achieving it.Experience: You have extensive experience in social work or allied professions, with a strong understanding of working with children in need, at risk, or in care. Your broad management experience spans various professional roles.Skills: You excel in strategic thinking, analysing complex family problems, and using evidence-based interventions. Your communication, influencing, negotiating, and advocacy skills are strong.Leadership: You have a proven ability to lead and motivate teams, provide professional supervision, and develop team and individual plans.Knowledge: You possess in-depth knowledge of national legislation, statutory requirements, and government guidelines for delivering high-quality children's services.Commitment: You are dedicated to promoting equality, safeguarding, and proactive, solution-focused approaches.
