The Community Dental Service provides NHS dental care for children and adults who have dental treatment needs which cannot be met in General Dental Practice.We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our team and hope to recruit an organised and enthusiastic administrator who will quickly become part of our admin family on a full-time basis, 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 8.30am till 4.45pm.We are a city wide service and have clinics at Yeadon health Centre, Reginald Centre, Middleton health centre and Head office is at St Georges centre Middleton. You would be required to travel to all our clinics when needed.You will be required to work flexibly within this team, supporting clinical staff in an administrative role. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. IT skills & knowledge are also essential.Previous knowledge of dental services & systems would be desirable although training will be provided.As a Dental administrator you will work alongside other administrative staff within the services to ensure a robust administrative support to clinicians and service users.The role will include:To welcome all patients and visitorsThe post holder will be responsible for designated clerical / reception duties in the service.To monitor and respond to incoming mail on the Community Dental reception email / monitor incoming tasks on the system.Receiving and responding to telephone calls from patients, families, and other professionalsPromote effective customer focused communication with patients and service users.Request, cancel and re-arrange appointments.To be responsible for the accurate and timely scanning of paperwork.Wait list management.Responsible for handling cash and processing dental payments.Receive, sort, and distribute goods and post delivered to the service.Adding referrals onto our systemPlease Review the Job Description and Person Specification Attached for full Requirements of the Role.Adverts will close early where the maximum numbers applicants is reached.For more information about this job, please contact -Marcia CowanEmail: marcia.cowan@nhs.netTel: 07598555423Working for Leeds community Healthcare NHS TrustWho are we?Leeds Community Healthcare provides a range of community-based health services across the whole city.
