You will be able to translate business requirements into functional specifications and effective, efficient and compliant business solutions. This role will be working on a business change project for our HR system. You will possess sound business process knowledge in the HR systems field and provide both specialist application and solution support for specific elements of the applications estate.Role ResponsibilityIn this role, you will:Work as a Subject Matter Expert for a relevant defined application and functional scope on business projects in line with business strategyGrasp user requirements and solution optionsOwn enhancements and project tasks; translating functional requirements into solution design, build, test (co-ordinating UAT) and deploymentWorking on the agreed projects and changes within the agreed time limitsBuilding solutions that comply right first time by design; possesses basic understanding of GDPR, SOx and GISPProviding expert second-line support to IT users in line with agreed SLAsInvestigating incidents and identifying and mobilising resources required to aid resolution and escalating SLA breachesActing as a Subject Matter Expert in the Change Management processWorking on vendor liaison to support service delivery to agreed SLAsSupporting the incident root cause analysis process and initiating problem managementSupports continuous process improvementThe Ideal CandidateEssential SkillsBe an effective communicator in both technical and non-technical termsBe an innovative thinkerAdept at defining and building system solutions from business requirementsDesirable Skills:Strong problem analysis and solving skillsSkilled at producing high quality documentationProcess orientation - capable of quality process mappingExperience and Education:Educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in a similar role
