What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Theatre Nurse and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. In this role, you will:
Provide expert assistance in the operating theatre across various specialities
Prepare and maintain sterile environments, ensuring infection control compliance
Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures
Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery
Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and materials with precision
Support patients through the perioperative process, offering reassurance and care
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid NMC registration and pin
Proven Theatre Nursing experience in a hospital setting (essential)
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and infection control
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment
Theatre Nursing qualification (desirable but not essential)
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible ad hoc agency position , requiring availability for day and night shifts . The contract is ongoing , with shifts tailored to your availability.
