Revenues & Benefits Visiting OfficerPermanent contract, 37 Hours per week£27,711 – £31,586 per annumSouth Worcestershire Revenues & Benefits are looking for a Visiting Officer to join our team of over 70 revenues and benefits officers.The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with visits for council tax, business rates and benefits to ensure the accuracy of Tax records as well as investigate irregularities.This role brings a variety of work to the job out in the community, as well as working within an office environment.About youThe successful candidate will:Be self- motivated, enthusiastic, and able to deal with a heavy and varied workloadBe able to work on own initiative and without the need to be closely supervised.Ability to prioritise and work accurately to targets and deadlines.Be able to deal with difficult situations.Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, with a strong customer focus.Hold a valid UK drivers licence, and own a vehicle to be able to carry out duties (essential car user allowance in place)A DBS will be required for this role.What we can offerOur staff are at the heart of what we do, and as a result we are always looking to recruit, develop and retain the very best talent we can find.
