What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 7/8a Pharmacist and play a key role in providing safe and effective chemotherapy services to patients. In this role, you will:
- Professionally screen and release chemotherapy prescriptions. - Ensure the safe and accurate preparation of chemotherapy regimens. - Provide clinical advice and guidance to medical and nursing staff regarding chemotherapy and cancer care. - Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to optimise cancer treatments. - Ensure adherence to national cancer care guidelines and local protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacist. - Significant experience in Cancer Services and screening/releasing chemotherapy. - Strong clinical knowledge of chemotherapy regimens and cancer treatment protocols. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a full-time position requiring availability from Monday to Friday , 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The contract is for an ongoing period , with the possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
