Astute’s Power team is partnering with a Leading Operator for their Operational waste to energy facility based in North Yorkshire. We are currently recruiting a Senior Authorised Person for a 4 weeks' contract to see the client through their shutdown.
The Senior Authorised Person position come with a day rate from �500.00 to �600.00.
Key skills
* Ensure that relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and, in consultation with site management, HSE and Commissioning team, that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable.
* Ensure that adequate precautions are taken to provide safety from the system whilst any maintenance checks are being completed.
* Oversee any routine maintenance checks to all 11kv to 33kv systems on site.
* Oversee the energisation of the equipment if and when required.
* Responsible for switching operations on the HV and LV switch gear and boards supplied by Contractor and Contractors.
* Lead the log-out / Tag-out office and coordinate all permit to safe work on the installation.
* Participate in site meetings and work closely with Commissioning to ensure full understanding of the maintenance program.
