Position Overview
We are currently looking for a qualified and motivated Social Worker to join our agency at Sirona Medical Social Work department. In this role, you will support Early Help interventions with Children and Families across Liverpool. The purpose of the role is to target support to children who are at risk of family breakdown, struggling with emotional and behavioural difficulties, experiencing Neglect, domestic abuse, parental mental health and/or substance/alcohol misuse issues. The aim of the intervention is to prevent escalation to statutory services.
Qualifications
- BA Honors or Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England Registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK driver’s license and access to vehicle (if applicable)
- At least three years of post-qualifying experience employed directly within an LA children's service in England
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Empathetic, patient-centered approach with a dedication to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
