With your guidance, the team will be equipped to deliver compassionate, person-centered care that enriches the lives of those we serve and supports the well-being of everyone in our community.Other key areas:Supporting the registered manager in the recruitment, selection and induction of staff to ensure appropriate competent staff for service.Respond to referrals and undertake social care assessments with customers, advising where necessary on the person's eligibility for services and putting in place ongoing support plans to meet assessed needs.Act as a key worker for an identified group of customers ensuring support arrangements are regularly reviewed liaising with health, housing and social care professionals to ensure their support is effectively coordinated.Undertake specific lead responsibilities on behalf of the service for example responsibility for ordering, monitoring and administering medication to customers, ensuring prescribed drugs are used appropriately and safely in line with relevant policies and procedures or coordinating the training plan for the service delivering local practice-based training programmes.About youYou will bring both experience and the ability to effectively supervise staff, conducting regular supervisions and appraisals to ensure continuous development and high performance. With your health and care qualifications, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to professional growth, and will be open to undertaking further training to Level 4 or equivalent.This role is part-time, requiring 18.5 hours per week, with flexibility to cover early mornings (7am-3pm), late evenings (3pm–10:30pm), with 1 weekend per month. A car driver is preferred to ensure flexibility in meeting the needs of the role.This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
