Schedule: Monday to Friday (may consider 4 days per week), 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 30-minute break
Start Date: February/March 2025
End Date: N/A (ongoing role)
Rate of Pay: �17-21 per hour (paid via umbrella)

A Day in the Life of a Mental Health Pharmacy Technician: Join our team as a Mental Health Pharmacy Technician and make a real difference in the lives of patients on Psychiatric and ITU wards . Your core responsibilities include:
Dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical support on Psychiatric and ITU wards.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective medication management.
Offering medication advice to patients and healthcare staff.
Ensuring compliance with medication safety protocols and guidelines.
Maintaining accurate medication records and contributing to audit processes.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Band 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.
Experience working in mental health wards , preferably within an NHS hospital .
Ability to work across both Psychiatric and ITU settings .
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A car driver is ideal, as the role involves working across two sites.
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a flexible working position , requiring availability from Monday to Friday , with the possibility of considering 4 days per week . The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
