We are excited to be recruiting for a Head Chef to work with us at a wonderful B&I site. The site provides free issue lunch for 400-450pax Monday - Friday. We also provide fine dining services of a high standard for events and meetings. We have a dedicated and hardworking team of 3 chefs in the kitchen to lead and manage.Location: E1W 1BFRate of pay: £50,000 per annum + amazing benefitsWorking pattern: Monday to Friday - 7am to 3.30pm - with occasional overtime paid at x1.5Key responsibilitiesTo prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standardTo produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customersTo ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menusTo develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectationsTo be creative when menu planning and including the client and customersPride yourself on food quality and hygiene standardOverall responsibility for managing the kitchen teamProvide feedback and coaching on performanceTo ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene trainingWhat\'s in it for you?Working with Vacherin has its perks!
