We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Marketing and Communications team as our Marketing & Communications AssistantYou will support the marketing and communications function of Loretto School, including both the Senior and Junior School. The marketing function is integral to the School’s growth plans and this position will be an essential part of the team. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Admissions to promote the School to current and prospective families, education partners, key stakeholders, and the local community.You will support the team in delivering the School’s marketing, communications and admissions strategy. As part of the team, you will focus on generating a consistent flow of prospective pupil enquiries as well as help promote the School’s commercial opportunities.You will help explore ongoing market trends, customer insight and develop customer personas to inform strategy and messaging. You will also help implement the School’s brand guidelines consistently across all communications, advertising and marketing. You will also:Help in the production of brochures, magazines, and prospectuses.Support the School in arranging key events for example, open days, taster events and internal events.Help create compelling social media content in alignment with the School’s social media strategy.Keep information about the School up to date on aggregate sites and online business directories.Liaise with media owners to book advertising.Help update and manage the School’s website.Review, update and maintain stock of branded promotional and marketing items, for example, merchandise, monitor marketing performance and create regular reports to be discussed with the team.Manage and monitor enquiry data to ensure it is accurate and actionable. Help the team identify and resolve gaps in customer insights and customer journey data.An excellent communicator, you will work closely with external agencies to deliver the best possible work. This will include joining calls and meetings, reviewing work and reports, and providing direction and input.Experience, Skills and Personal AttributesUnderstanding of marketing principles, and a degree (in any specialism) if appropriate.Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a solution-finding mindset.Proven track record of being a positive member of a ‘can-do’ team as well as be able to work on your own initiative.Willingness to undertake job-related training as required by the School.
